Filter belts for dewatering of mining sludge on a belt press

Filter belts with high abrasion resistance, high dewatering speed and high mechanical resistance to deformation and falding are suitable for abrasive mining slurries. Due to the low organic content of the sludge, which is easy to press, it is often possible to use spiral belts. An undeniable advantage of using spiral belts is the strong spiral joint, which does not protrude above the level of the fabric and therefore usually has a longer lifetime than the stainless steel clipper seam on woven belts.
